The passion for wine ran in the veins of Don Nicola Sangiorgio and Mario Fornari. In 1955, they established their wine merchant business in Mendoza, Argentina. As their business flourished, their entrepreneurial spirit drove them to great success. A few years later Don Mario passed away, deeply affecting Don Nicola. As a result, in 1960, Don Nicola decided to close the business.
The ancestral gene of the passion for wine was passed along to two of Don Nicola’s grandsons, Matias and Gaston, who in 2000 decided to pick up the family name and began a similar path. Today, they are in charge of their own small winery in a prestigious piece of land of Mendoza, Argentina. In honor of their family and with their obsession of producing a high quality Malbec, the Sangiorgio brothers decided to honor the vine of Argentina and developed what you can now enjoy as ARGENVINE.
