This Cognac comes from the area that is known today as Grande Champagne cru, its grapes were Folle Blanche and Colombard and this eaux-de-vie is pure and unblended at a natural strength of 41% volume. Cognac is the best known and most famous of the world's brandies. The Cognac region is located north of Bordeaux and Grande Champagne is the area of premium quality. These are aged 45-60 years and found only in the most exclusive restaurants in the world!

| LEYRAT COGNAC
Available: VSOP, XO
VSOP- Old gold in colour. A dense initial nose displays dried hay and a touch of spice. It develops to more pronounced oak with traces of pears and pepper. The palate is smooth and rich with an aftertaste of oak and flowers, violets in particular.
XO- Old gold in colour. A complex nose opens with nutty aromas, pastry and butterscotch and a hint of dry leaves. The nose evolves to more pronounced dry fruits and nuts with vanilla undertones. The palate is present and initially quite dry with the long clean finish typical of Leyrat cognac
