Ace Distributing is excited to bring Ca' Bembo wines to Connecticut. In association with CW Imports of New York, Ace Distributing has been able to 'discover' these gems from the Friuli region of Italy. The winery has a long history of producing wines which are just beginning to come to the United States. Using modern techniques to produce high quality wines, Pnincipi di Porcia has not forgotten their traditions, which date back to 1300.

Principi di Porcia
The history of the Porcia and Brugnera families goes back to 1181 with the earl's title and with the feuds of the villages of Porcia and Brugnera in West Friuli. During thiese eight centuries the Porcia Castle was protagonist of important political and cultural events in Friulian history. Emperors such as Charles V and Henry III Habsburg, who appreciated, as the documents of the time report, the good cooking, the good wine and hospitability.
The castles suffered different times from terrible earthquakes but it was always rebuilt combiningthe original structure with the architecture of the different periods. In fact, we can find a Venetian and a Renaissance palace surrounding the impressive original tower and, in the current wine cellars (Medieval building), the remainings of the diamond and coat of arms hall, after the devasting fire of 1500.
The Principi di Porcia e Brugnera family has been living in this borough for eight centuries, preserving the history and the tradition.
