Called “glühwein” in Germany, the traditional recipe is made of red wine, cinnamon, cloves and anise spices, as well as fruits like oranges, lemons and blueberries. Often served hot and best enjoyed on a cold winter night, it is also very popular at ski resorts where it is savored after a long day out on the trails.
